Media Consumption

How did you consume the media texts?
Reading
Viewing
Listening
Accessing
Compare the responses of the class.  Do they differ?

They differ at a large extent. Reading would indubitably differ from viewing because communication to the audience via textual content is the primary focus directed by the content-producer in order to achieve reaction from the audience. Viewing however, has the primary focus of visually appealing to the audience in order to effectively communicate the desired message. Listening would have to accommodate the function of cohesion via a vocal form of communication in order to transmit a message to the audience. This is executed without the perks of a visual means of delivery. Accessing would require the recipient of information to use the initiative for the intake of information. Those are the distinctive attributes of each form of media consumption.
